Karen Ferguson-Bain is a proud member of the Pilot Club of Lucaya for over 14 years. Karen has served as Fundraising Coordinator and Director, Club Ambassador and Club President. During her tenure with the Bahamas District, Karen also served as Fundraising Coordinator three times, twice consecutively. She received the prestigious Bahamas District Governors award in 2015. Karen served as Governor Elect 2020-2021 and Governor of the Bahamas District 2021-2022, where she chartered both a Compass Club and Pilot Club in the same year.
In 2018, Karen was invited by Past Pilot International President Faith Stamps to serve as the Flag Ceremony Chair at the International Convention and Leadership Conference in Tennessee 2018. With great enthusiasm, Karen also served on the Pilot International Anchor and Compass Advisory Committee and served as the Pilot International Membership Coordinator in 2020-2021. It was in 2022 that Karen was voted in as a Director of Pilot International and held the office for two years. Karen became the Secretary of Pilot International on July 20, 2024 and is currently the Executive Committee Representative for the Florida and Virginia Districts.
Karen is passionate about serving others and desires nothing more than to see her beloved Pilot International organization expand globally. As a community leader, Karen is a member of the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce, The Blood Donor's Society of Grand Bahama, Director of 700 Partners and The Anglican Church Women of the Pro Cathedral of Christ The King. Karen is Senior Manager of Patient Relations at the Rand Memorial Hospital located in Freeport Grand Bahama.
