Susan Pitts joined The Pilot Club in 2011 because of the commitment to Walk for the Cure to End Alzheimer’s. At the time, Susan's mother suffered with the disease. We lost her mom in 2015 to the disease. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is very important to Susan and she has formed a team and contributed to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s each year.
The 27th Annual Pilot Club of Baytown Alzheimer’s Walk is happening Saturday, October 5, 2024, 8 a.m. returning to Bayland Park, 2641 S Highway 146, Baytown. All walk participants that raise $100 will receive a Walk t-shirt, in their selected size. Donations of $250 or more will have their name added to the sponsor list on the t-shirt if commitment is received before end of August.
Almost everyone we know has a relative or friend who is either a caregiver or is in some stage of the disease. Proceeds go to The Greater Houston Alzheimer's Association, to provide programs and services to benefit caregivers and patients.
