Pilot Stories: Happy 50th Anniversary to Sayville!

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Pilot Club of Sayville celebrated their 50th Anniversary. The Club hosted a Brunch at The Mansion-West Sayville Country Club. Approximately 70 people attended.

The Club received a Proclamation from our Town of Islip Supervisor, Angie Carpenter. Guest speakers also included Karen Dibson, Governor Elect, Northeast Potomac District, Meredith D'Andrea, Charter Member -Emeritus, Patricia Vazquez, Charter Member. Ellen Hathaway, Member and Deanna Suckow, Member read the Code of Ethics and the Inspirational Message.

This event was covered widely in local news media including the Long Island Advance, The Suffock County News, the Trihamlet News, and more.

The Pilots of Sayville have a long history of service including mini craft fairs, flower sales, yard sales, collecting masks during the 2020 pandemic, fashion shows and more.

The Club was Chartered on December 3, 1973.
