2016-2017 Pilot International Treasurer
Judy Jackson of Carrollton, Georgia, was elected Pilot International Treasurer for a second term at the 2016 Pilot International Convention in Montreal.
She has taught college English at West Georgia Technical College for seven years and serves on the Library Committee. She also chairs the college-wide, five-campus Art Exhibit.
Judy is a talented leader, having managed state and federal budgets in three K-12 school systems respectively as Director of Special Education, Director of Secondary Curriculum & Professional Development, and Coordinator of Gifted Services. She was instrumental in securing grants for system-wide gifted services.
Her accomplishments have resulted in several professional achievements, including being nominated for the Rick Perkins Award of the Technical College System of Georgia. She received the Outstanding Leadership Award given by the Georgia Association for Gifted Children for leadership in a school system, being nominated by teachers.
Judy is a member of the Association for Supervision & Curriculum Development, the Georgia Association for Gifted Children, and the Carroll County Cultural Arts Alliance. She also volunteers with her church and other civic organizations.
