#GivingTuesday for Pilot International
#GivingTuesday 2018-Tuesday, November 27, 2018
What’s your giving story?
Why we celebrate Giving Tuesday:
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.
Why Should I Give?

supporting those who care for others.
Pilot’s light shines in communities all around the world. Help Pilot continue to remain on our “True Course Ever” with your donation!

What Are Employee Matching Gift Programs?
Good news: if you have five minutes to spare, you may be able to double your donation to the Pilot International through a matching gift program. Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches charitable contributions made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. Even if you’ve retired, you may still be able to take advantage of these programs: gifts from retirees and spouses often qualify for a match as well!
What are Volunteer Grant Programs?
Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. This is another wonderful way to increase the impact of your time and giving!
How do I request a Matching Gift or Volunteer Grant?
Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor / volunteer. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
