The Pilot International Scholarship was established in 1988 to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students preparing for a career working with youth and young adults in leadership and development, helping people and encouraging brain safety and health, or caring for families during times of need.
Eligibility:
• Graduating high school seniors and full-time undergraduate students. Must remain a full-time student for the duration of the scholarship.
• Career goal(s) that further Pilot International’s mission of (a) working with youth and young adults in leadership and development, (2) helping people and encouraging brain safety and health, or (3) caring for families during times of need.
• Awards are based on community service, financial need, academic success, and application contents.

• A student may re-apply and be granted the Pilot International Scholarship for no more than three (3) additional years.

The Becky Burrows Memorial Scholarship was established in 2005 from the estate of Becky Burrows. Becky Burrows lived in Arlington, Virginia and was a member of the Pilot Club of Arlington Northeast Potomac District for 38 years. She was one of the first nine employees at the International Monetary Fund where she worked for 29 years. She was very friendly and spent much of her time at Pilot events making guests feel welcome and was also very helpful to new Pilots. She attended more than 25 Pilot International Conventions where she often served as a doorkeeper.
This fund provides aid to students who are reentering the job market, beginning “second careers,” or seeking to improve their professional skills for their current occupation by continuing their education in that field. Students must pursue a career working with youth and young adults in leadership and development, helping people and encouraging brain safety and health, or caring for families during times of need.

The Marie Newton Sepia Memorial Scholarship was established in 1983 as a part of Pilot International to provide financial aid to a qualified graduate or doctorate student preparing for or currently working in careers related to brain safety and health or caring for families in times of need. M. Fred Sepia made the initial contribution to the fund in memory of his wife, Marie, who was a longtime member of Pilot International and served as International President in 1968 – 1969. It is intended that this fund will permanently further Pilot International’s mission by assisting worthy capable individuals to pursue careers in which they will teach, encourage and rehabilitate children with disabilities.
Eligibility:
• Full-time or part-time graduate and doctoral students.
• Career goals which will teach, encourage, and rehabilitate children with disabilities, specifically dealing with brain-related disorders/disabilities of children.

Maria Newton Sepia Memorial Scholarship Form Download (writable)
The Ruby Newhall Memorial Scholarship was established in October 1949. Ruby Newhall was from Gainesville, Florida and was president of Pilot International. Her contacts with international students at the University of Florida strengthened her belief that these students could contribute significantly to improving international relations. An applicant for the Ruby Newhall Memorial Scholarship must be from a foreign country pursuing a degree in the United States or Canada. The field of study must be of a nature that it improves the quality of life for the community in their home country.

The Bob King Co-Pilot Memorial Scholarship was established in 2015 to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors and/or undergraduate students preparing for a career that furthers Pilot International's mission. Co-Pilot Bob "Santa Bob" King was the husband of the late Shirley King, a member of the Pilot Club of CSRA in Augusta, Georgia. Bob was passionate in his support of Co-Pilot projects on the state and international level, most notably improvements at Pilot International Headquarters in Macon, GA. Bob passed away on September 3, 2012, while on a cruise celebrating his 44th wedding anniversary. During the 2014 Pilot International Leadership Conference, the Co-Pilots elected to fund a scholarship in Bob's memory.

The Conrad Spirrison Memorial Scholarship was established in 2022 to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student preparing for a career in education. Dr. Spirrison was the father of Holly Baker and Co-Pilot of Sophia Spirrison, both Pilot members of the Midwest District. Conrad was passionate in his support of Pilot international's endeavors for many years. Dr. Spirrison was a lifelong student who became an educator and administrator. His family is honored to sponsor a scholarship in his memory.
Eligibility:
• Graduating high school seniors and/or full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 credit hours in a college or university in the United States or Canada at the time of submitting the application. Must remain a full-time student for the duration of the scholarship.
• Have at the time of application and maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a 4.0 on a 5.0 scale.
• Career goal(s) in education.
• Awards are based on community service, financial need, academic success, and application contents.

The LA-IN Compass Scholarship was established in 2021 to provide financial assistance to Compass Club members as they pursue education beyond high school. The scholarship is funded by a private donation.
