Shannon has been with The University of North Carolina system for the past 23 years. She is currently working as the Sr. Director of Campus Enterprises at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has budget and personnel oversight for Procurement, University Bookstore, Trademark Licensing, SpartanCard/ATM Office, Printing, Postal, Surplus Property, Campus Enterprise Technology, and Purchasing Card operations. Prior to UNC Greensboro Shannon worked for UNC Pembroke for 10 years. She has been heavily involved with student organizations on both campuses. She served for 6 years as the Chapter Adviser for Phi Mu Fraternity and won UNCG Adviser of the Year twice. While at UNC Pembroke, she coached the University Cheerleaders for 8 years and the Mascot for 6 years. Shannon graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Business Administration. Married to Bill, they have a son, John, who resides and works in London and a mixed breed rescue pup, Barney.
Club: Member of the Pilot Club of Greensboro since April 2003. Served as President, President-elect, Recording Secretary, PIF Representative and Fundraising Coordinator.

Member of the North Carolina District. Served as Governor (2008-2009), Governor-Elect, Lt. Governor, Treasurer, Leadership Coordinator and PIF Representative.
