“Dare to be remarkable” is the first of three goals Mimi Wold had her high school English students write every day. And that goal has been a mainstay of her contributions to Pilot and her personal and career achievements of 20 years of helping students learn about English and life. She’s now serving as Executive Vice President for Wold, Inc. a marketing firm. She looks forward to every day of friendship and service. “I believe our Pilots are indeed remarkable and that when we change our words to meet the needs of those around us, we’ll change our world.”
Married to Ted Wold, they have three sons: Todd, Troy, and Tracy, 3 daughters-in-law: Shelley, Jae, and Melissa, and a fantastic grandson, Parker. Mimi’s traveling obsession started with a trip around the world won on a television contest and has included additional trips to France, England, Scotland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, and Korea. Through those trips she’s learned that people across the globe want the same: faith, family, friends and good health. And Pilot helps in that quest.
Club: Member, the Pilot Club of Winnfield, LA since 2004 — served as club President-Elect two years and President.
District: Louisiana District offices include Chaplain, Secretary, Governor-Elect and Governor.
International: Serves as 2011-2012 PI Director
