Florida District

Congratulations on being a Pilot! You have chosen to be a part of a prestigious service organization known world-wide and with that wonderful distinction comes many things to be proud of. First of all, green isn’t just our Pilot color, it’s the way we see the future. We pride ourselves in our dedication to “Go Green.” We use Constant Contact, an email notification program, as a way for our Pilots, Co-Pilots, and E-Pilots to receive up-to-date and timely information on such things as state-wide and international events, State and International conventions, and of course notices about our Prayer Board.

We also believe that our youth is the key to our future. And that’s why as Pilots we volunteer over 1,000 hours each year in our middle and high school anchor clubs. As Florida Pilots, we are a part of the largest support network for our 38 anchor clubs and over 1,500 anchors, which is a great distinction our Florida District holds in high esteem; the Florida District has the most anchors and anchor clubs world-wide. And we don’t stop there; the Florida District is also home to the only Pilot Scholarship House Foundation. We support three scholarship houses, one at the University of Florida in Gainesville, one at Florida State in Tallahassee and one at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

Lastly, being a Pilot means being a part of a strong and supportive network of friends from all walks of life. It’s about community service, but also having fun.

Welcome to Pilot! I’m glad you’re here. To learn more about Florida Pilots, please log onto our website www.pilotflorida.org.
