With the establishment of its first club in 1947, Ontario became an integral part of Pilot’s international family. With a combined membership of approximately 50, Ontario is home to two Pilot Clubs:

  • Niagara Falls
  • Scarborough

The Ontario clubs are part of a group of 5 Pilot clubs outside established districts. To support Pilot’s mission, the clubs sponsor many service projects and fund-raisers that improve the quality of life in their communities.

The clubs support numerous community organizations, such as: the Alzheimer’s Society, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, and Blissymbolics International. Some of the club projects include coordinating activities and services for senior citizens, donating clothing and amenity items to abused women, and sponsoring a leadership recognition program for high school students.

Helping people in need is Pilot’s ultimate goal, and the members in Ontario are doing their part to improve the quality of life for those around them.
