What are international Anchor dues?

$10 per member per year for Grades 9-12

$5 per member per year for Grades 1-8

What are the international Anchor Awards?

Anchor Advisor of the Year:  The nomination should consist of at least three (3) nomination letters from students, Pilots, or individuals that have direct contact with the Advisor explaining why the Advisor should be considered for Anchor Advisor of the Year.  Check the Pilot International website frequently for revised guidelines.  The nomination must be postmarked no later than January 15.

Mail or fax to PI Headquarters (102 Preston Court, Macon, GA 31210 or fax 478-477-6978). The Winner is invited to international convention to accept award and is featured in the Pilot Log and Flagship.

OUTSTANDING CLUB OF THE YEAR:

  • Study the form and judging criteria

Note: Judges will consider quality of projects rather than quantity; involvement with sponsoring Pilot Club; and the Anchor Club service focus.

 Anchor Clubs first submit an entry (for the current year) to District competition by the deadline announced by each District Governor. (Deadlines vary but are no later than March 15).  Sponsoring Pilot Clubs should communicate this information to the Anchor Club.

 The winning entry from each District is then submitted to Pilot International Headquarters for international competition postmarked by April 15.

Anchor Clubs in the COED District should send their entry (for the current year) directly to PI Headquarters, postmarked no later than April 15 (International Deadline).

Can Anchor Clubs apply for a PIF matching Grant?

Yes, Anchor clubs planning a project that will benefit persons with brain-related disorders may apply for a matching grant from Pilot International Foundation.
